Meet Our Staff

Ashlyn Batten

Ashlyn is a PATH Int’l Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor, PATH Int'l Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning, our Executive Director and Equine Manager, the PATH Int'l NC State Chair, and co-founder of MMTHC. She has been active in the EAS field since high school, when she began volunteering as a way to spend more time around horses, but quickly grew to love seeing the joy on the students’ faces and decided that this was what she was meant to do.  Ashlyn's vision for MMTHC is to see many people's lives touched through a wide range of EAS programs, and that there will be something to offer everyone who comes to the program. Not only does Ashlyn work at MMTHC, she also teaches music lessons, as well as play the organ at her church. When Ashlyn isn't busy working, playing with her horses or working on the farm, she can probably be found swinging around at the local ninja gym!
